The Challenge
Producers and recruiters often set up production teams and they need to recruit the required people in a short timeframe. Many professionals participate in a few productions every year, which is why they are interested in joining the next project that best suits their skills and preferences as soon as possible.
Recruiter
- Limited time
- Choosing the wrong professional can result in significant financial losses
- Fast and short recruitment process
Teammates
- Finding the next job easily
- Avoiding being unemployed
2
The Research
The objectives of the study included gaining an understanding of the current recruitment and job searching process in the production industry, identifying the challenges and pain points in current processes and solutions, and identifying potential competitors.
Survey and Interviews
The survey was promoted on Facebook groups associated with film and television productions, and 12 respondents - 6 recruiters and 6 staff members - answered the online survey and were also interviewed by phone and in person.

So, How it's done today
Taasiya
- Simple bulletin board without the ability to filter, or see previous experience
- No history or schedule management available
- Communication between the recruiter and the candidate cannot be managed through the site
Facebook Groups
- Project-level management is not available
- The project and the candidates aren’t transparent
- Finding and filtering information according to various criteria is difficult
Job Portals
- Websites that do not target specific audiences.
- Most jobs are long-term.
Word of Mouth
- Knowing previous experiences only from few reviews.
Conclusion
According to the results, many companies and recruiters waste money and time trying to identify and evaluate a candidate's level of experience and professionalism and his suitability for the position. The same can be said for teammates looking for long-term or short-term productions with a financial and professional reward. Furthermore, it was also found that most recruiters and teammates had poor information one on another.

Design System
Despite taking longer and learning new things while building the project, it was crucial for me to build it correctly. I needed a design system based on components for greater flexibility, speed, and efficiency.
By designing the project this way, I could make major changes to the site with a few simple clicks.
